Movement and turbulence, ambiguous color mixtures and a strong emphasis on the life of the materials are of primary importance in this nature inspired work.

Stephanie DeManuelle grew up and was educated in Louisiana and moved to New York City after college. She taught at FIT and Parsons for many years and served as Chair of the Fine Arts Department at FIT.

Her work is included in both public and private collections and has been shown in New York City and the Adirondack Mountains, where she shows yearly.
